Total Recruitmentare seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service.
Shift Pattern:
8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)
Responsibilities
- Operate delivery vans to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Follow designated routes and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
