If you are a secretary with a background within a legal environment, then look no further! We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our reputable legal firm client in Paisley on an ongoing temporary basis with an immediate start.

What you will get in your new role
Hourly rate is 14.00 (there may be some flexibility dependant on experience) with working hours set from Monday to Friday, spanning from 09:00 to 17:00. This assignment will be ongoing until December 23rd.

Responsibilities within your new role

  • Producing legal documents

  • Providing secretarial support to lawyers

  • Answering telephone calls, transferring calls and taking messages

  • Keeping accurate records of meetings and appointments

  • Organising travel arrangements for lawyers

  • Arranging meetings and managing lawyers' diaries

  • Attending court and meeting clients

  • Closing, archiving and storing files

  • Assisting in the preparation of court documents


Your experience, personality and qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent typing skills along with proficiency in various MS Office programmes. Strong communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a team are essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. While training will be provided for in-house office needs, the preferred candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and consistently maintaining high-quality work standards.
