Maintenance Fitter Responsibilities
- Ensure all machinery is safe, fit for purpose, and operating efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Design and execute maintenance schedules to reduce downtime.
- Design, install, overhaul, and repair new and existing equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Maintenance Fitter Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of engineering standards and best practices.
- Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, and repair skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings and layouts.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
