Role: Payroll Supervisor

Location: Hillington (Office based)

Looking to elevate your career as a Payroll Supervisor for an award-winning, ambitious employer?

You will have responsibility for all aspects of payroll on a weekly and monthly basis with the payroll team reporting into the Financial Controller

This opportunity requires a confident professional to work in cross-collaboration with different departments

Our client is ideally looking for someone with experience in Payroll and has excellent experience in Microsoft Office who is looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to thrive within a high-profile role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly and monthly salaries in line with monthly payroll deadlines for a diverse employee base
  • Calculate and process statutory deductions such as PAYE, National Insurance, maternity, paternity, adoption, sickness, student loans, and pension contributions
  • Explaining calculations to managers and resolving queries
  • Advising on any changes to UK payroll tax rules
  • Checking and processing timesheets
  • Ensure that all employee pay is processed accurately and on time
  • Processing new starters, changes and leavers
  • Publish P45's and payslips
  • Collating data and preparing reports
  • Producing payroll reports

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Payroll Supervisor position or a similar role (minimum of 3 years)
  • Proficiency in payroll software
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Strong organisational skills
