Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials, particularly sheet metal. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the capability to interpret technical drawings, ensuring that all components are assembled accurately and efficiently.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
  • Perform welding operations using stick welding techniques and other methods as required.
  • Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to carry out fabrication tasks.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication processes.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the fabrication process.

Experience
