Job Description: Accounts Assistant
We are seeking a full-time Accounts Assistant to join our clients expanding team in Penarth. This is a dynamic and varied role ideal for an organised, detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the accounts team.
- Handle telephone and email queries professionally and efficiently.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor credit control.
- Resolve invoice issues and coordinate year-end accounts administration.
- Assist with clients' year-end preparation.
- Address complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Update Excel reports and internal systems accurately.
- Carry out general administrative duties to support the team.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounts environment.
- AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Xero accounting software.
What We Offer:
- Salary: Starting from 23,000 per year (dependent on experience).
- Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8.30 AM - 5.00 PM (1-hour lunch break).
- Friday: 8.30 AM - 4.30 PM (1-hour lunch break).

The role is based in Penarth, and candidates must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
