Our client, located in the beautiful area of Staveley, Westmorland and Furness, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their dynamic team on a Permanent basis with the potential for a permanent position. What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Performing day-to-day maintenance of all plant and machinery.

  • Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Conducting routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned schedules.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues efficiently.
  • Providing production support as needed.
  • Completing departmental work record sheets.
  • Collaborating with mechanical and operational departments when required.

What We're Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • Extensive electrical experience in a continuous process environment.
  • Proven skills in fault finding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with general factory maintenance practises.
  • Knowledge of basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively at all levels.

Working Pattern:

  • Full-time hours from Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 3:30 PM finish on Fridays.
  • This role requires your own transport due to the location.
