Reed Recruitment are working with an industry leading company who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior management and make a significant impact on the company's strategic decisions, ensuring their continued growth and profitability.

This position would be ideal for someone that is Practice trained looking to move to industry or to someone that has been practice trained and already made the move to industry. You will work alongside an experienced FD and FC.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Establish and maintain robust financial policies and management information systems.
  • Provide high-quality support by liaising with management on all financial aspects, ensuring optimal financial practices across the organisation.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives across operational and production areas to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Develop and implement innovative financial strategies that support the organisation’s objectives.
  • Engage in the preparation and detailed analysis of monthly management accounts for the company and its associated entities.
  • Report directly to senior management on financial issues and insights that affect company performance.
  • Participate actively in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing accurate financial forecasts.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of new and existing contracts to ensure financial optimisation.
  • Lead finance-based projects, including mergers and acquisitions activities, adding strategic value to the company.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial tasks and analyses to support various aspects of the business.
  • Perform site visits to various company locations as needed to ensure alignment and compliance with financial protocols.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Advanced computer skills, with proficiency in financial software.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively presenting financial data to non-financial colleagues.
  • A customer-focused approach, ensuring internal client satisfaction.
  • Professional demeanour, representing the finance department across the organisation.
