Prestigious opportunity for a Business Systems Support Analyst with a government department that operates within the Civil nuclear industry. This is a hybrid role based in Cumbria with ongoing career development and training. The organisation has recently been through a large transformation of their core internal systems (ERP, HCM etc), and have recently implemented an Oracle based system. Due to the successful delivery of this Programme, they have since bought their Finance, HR and Procurement activities back in house and are continuing to build out capabilities and functionality. They are now looking for a Systems Support Analyst to work with the system users to analyse internal processes, provide solutions and the associated documentation. Working within defined SLAs you will be responsible for managing and resolving support calls (across a range of supported systems) in addition to liaising with the Managed Service provider and system supplier to resolve issues.You will be responsible for:-

  • Daily Operations: Delivery of support services on a day-to-day basis within agreed internal SLAs.
  • Issue Resolution: Contribute to resolution of issues escalated from suppliers, partners, vendors and customers.
  • Problem and Defect Management: Contribute to the analysis and resolution of pervasive system issues.
  • Development Services: Involvement in the development and delivery of enhancements, improvements, and projects.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security practices, guidelines, and standards.
  • Relationships: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers, partners, vendors and customers in support of business strategies and goals.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and process expertise for the Systems supported.
  • Collaboration: with the wider Organisation to driving innovation with our ERP processes and systems.
