This role involves delivering tailored care plans and ensuring the well-being of children, while working effectively with families and other healthcare professionals.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evening and weekend mental health support for children with various mental health conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care.
  • Implement individualised care plans and monitor progress.
  • Offer emotional support, guidance, and practical assistance to children and their families.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, following established protocols and policies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of care and interactions.

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of experience working in children's mental health.
  • Must be a driver
  • Availability for evening shifts and at least 8 hours over the weekend.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
