Are you a flexible and resilient individual with a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt to changing roles throughout the day based on the support needs of each pupil.
  • Collaborate with class teachers, support staff, and multi-agency teams to implement recommendations and guidance.
  • Provide support to pupils with challenging behaviours, severe physical, and/or learning difficulties.
  • Adapt to support covering needs that will be around, but not limited to, Safeguarding, TeamTeach, personal care and medical support depending on the needs of class (feeds, epilepsy training, etc.)

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting pupils with challenging behaviours and severe physical and/or learning difficulties.
  • A warm and empathetic personality.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a professional approach to working with others.
  • Commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Flexibility to interchange roles to meet the needs of our pupils.
