Audit Senior/ Assistant Manager Peterborough Full-Time £35,000 - £54,000

Due to continued growth, a top 15 accountancy practice is looking for a talented individual to join it's Peterborough office as an Audit Senior / Assistant Manager. Whether you are newly qualified and looking to step into a Senior role or have experience and are ready to progress into an Assistant Manager position, this opportunity offers a clear path for career development. You will be part of a growing, collaborative team, working closely with Managers and Partners while receiving regular support to enhance your skills and advance your career.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with an expansive and varied client base, including a number of large corporate clients and groups with turnover up to £500m.
  • Lead the statutory audit engagement, from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare and review group and single entity financial statements.
  • Deliver advisory work including, preparation of financial forecast models, business plans, reporting on internal controls, financial due diligence and other ad hoc projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, being a key client contact.
  • Supervise, coach and develop junior members of staff.

Personal Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 1 year PQE.
  • Motivated, organised, and commercially minded.
  • Clear perception of good client service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to deliver accurate work in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Flexible and professional approach.
  • Confidence and ability to establish credibility with Partners and clients.
  • Natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
