The ONE Group are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most impressive organisations, who are part of a globally renowned group. Due to a positive re structure in the team, they are now on the lookout for an ambitious and personable individual to join them as a Financial Accountant. This opportunity is tailor made for someone who is actively studying and has an interest in internal controls and data analysis and manipulation. Duties in the role will include:
- Delivering timely forecast and budgets for the group.
- Foreign currency & data driven reporting.
- Lead the balance sheet recs
- Be a key contact for internal and external audit requirements
- Manage the quarterly SOX processes
- Continuous improvement of reporting and control processes
- Manage the group annual controls reporting.
So what does the ideal candidate look like? Your attitude and desire to grow is key here, it's not essential that you have all of the desired experince as this can very much be a development role too. Some experience of audit and controls work would be advantageous.The salary for the role is paying up to £40,000 per annum, plus fantastic benefits including study support, an enhanced pension and HUGE development opportunities. The business is Peterborough based, however you would only be required to travel to the office a couple of times a week.
