Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for something to start immediately or within a short notice period?

We are supporting a company based in Peterborough who are recruiting for a Management Accountant to start as soon as possible, for a 15-month contract with potential to become permanent. The salary is up to £48,000 depending on your experience. This is a full time office based position, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.

Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Posting journals
  • Assisting with VAT Returns
  • Assisting with the Company's annual internal and external audits
  • Completion of various balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
  • Production of board reports
  • Variance analysis of costs as reflected in the P&L
  • Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger in the Company's ERP system
  • Provide support for purchase ledger and accounts assistant duties; including bank reconciliations and processing purchase ledger invoices

To be successful you must have a minimum of 4 years experience within a similar role, ideally you will be AAT qualified or working towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent. Experience of using Business Central and working with multiple currencies is desirable.
