Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Peterborough who are looking for Account Manager to join their busy team.

About The Role:

  • To develop and broaden the clients relationship with existing Customers, while identifying and qualifying profitable opportunities for new product sales, maximising sales penetration, and revenue within each Customer account
  • Professionally manage Customer contact and provide support where required, ensuring the Customer experience is positive and the Customer is a promoter (NPS)

Salary: £26,000 per annum.

Working hours: 8am to 4:30pm; Monday to Friday

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work independently to manage the Customer relationship and to exceed the Customer's expectations.
  • Produce and maintain a thorough account plan for each customer (including a clear contact strategy and development objectives). To be personally responsible for ensuring the delivery of this strategy (identifying where support is required) and assessing the results.
  • Track performance of accounts (revenue), opportunity and scope to build and maintain customer relations.
  • Continually look to improve and develop knowledge and to share that with colleagues.
  • Act as mentor to other team members and support them within their portfolio when required.
  • Produce and maintain an accurate revenue forecast (rolling 12 months) and report on monthly revenue variances verses both budget and forecast.

About you:

  • Extensive experience within either the courier or a related industry
  • Excellent networking ability and natural communication style
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Account management and development skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Able to travel within designated territory and able to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Email, Power Point)
  • Skilled listener, able to understand and empathise with Customers whilst understanding context and the Customer supplier relationship
  • Always presents a well prepared and professional image
