Our niche client with offices based in Peterborough is seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join them on a full time permanent basis working 42.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.(can be some element of flexibility on start and finish time as long as within core opening hours.
As CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for complete end to end design life cycles from idea inception to completion, producing pro-types, running testing, refining and improving designs throughout the process. You will regular design reviews to ensure our client stays ahead of trends, prepare and enforce company design standards, export new materials and technologies for designs, working to deadlines and within budget to meet appropriate projects.
To be considered for the role of CAD Engineer it is essential that you are educated to degree level in Automotive Engineering or Design and have relevant post qualification working experience. You will be experienced in using Solidworks and proficient in both 2D and 3D design. It is essential that you have a strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials and you will have excellent communication and organisational, will thrive as working as part of a growing team and looking to join an innovative company.
In return, for the role of CAD Engineer, our client is offering a starting salary of up to £45,000, pension, 28 days holiday (inclusive of statutory holidays), bonus incentives, on site parking and the chance to further develop in your role.
