Emissions Certification Engineer

Peterborough / Hybrid working - 3 days on-site per week

12 month contract (high chance of being extended)

Responsibilities of the Emissions Certification Engineer include

  • Plan, schedule & execute engine performance & emissions testing across all Medium Engines products
  • Conduct and/or direct engine performance and emissions tests, checking data quality, test result integrity and regulation compliance.
  • Write requirements, procedures, and reports and formally present on test outcomes.
  • Plan, manage and deliver tests to tight time scales and to right quality.

Qualifications & Experience Required of the Emissions Certification Engineer

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering curriculum
  • Combustion engine and aftertreatment calibration testing experience
  • Engine performance and emissions certification test experience
  • Knowledge of nonroad engine emissions regulations testing requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of various data systems including, but not limited to, CANape, Gryphon

Competitive Hourly Rate - Umbrella OR PAYE
