Job Title:Structural Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
- To provide structural engineering support at all stages of the development process, from initial viability advice to full design packages.
- Review all aspect of value engineer viability and challenge the building design
- Assess and appraise consultant's designs for suitability and to ensure the designs are the most cost effective compliant with legislation and practical.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Technical Director and the Preconstruction team to drive the standardisation
- Advise the wider group on all matters related to Timber frame and offer efficiency solutions to production and site installation.

Required Skills:
- Min. 3-year experience as Chartered Engineer. (MIStructE)
- Previous work experience from a STA Assure gold design office and job running experience.
- IT/Computer literate
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Experience in Revit (advantage)
- Thorough understanding of technical and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret geotechnical and environmental reports and make suitable recommendations
- Thorough knowledge of assessment of ground conditions for foundation and sub- structure design
- Thorough knowledge of remediation techniques and methodology
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise
