About Us:A well-established and highly respected Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm based in Peterborough is looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join a growing team. The company is an award-winning chartered Financial Planning firm.

You will be supporting a team of expert advisers who provide tailored financial solutions to a diverse range of clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

Role Overview:To provide Administrative, Compliance and Sales Support to all Advisors and the Practice Manager and to provide Reception services both face-to-face and on the telephone as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adding client folders to SharePoint as required. Ensure that all client folders are up to date and fully completed (BPS & Plan BPS)
  • Answering phones for Brooks Wealth or BWM Legal. Putting calls through to the relevant person
  • Making calls to providers and clients
  • Making appointments new and review and adding them to the electronic diary
  • Scanning in the post before it is distributed to the Advisors
  • Making up packs for the Advisers when they have the initial client meeting
  • Scanning in any documents to electronic files to keep for our records
  • Complete URU (Electronic Identification) for each new client - update progress sheet
  • Scan to file Letters of Authority and write up a cover letter to send off with each one - along with the appropriate product type information request form. Update the electronic file and post to the provider.
  • Prepare and send letters to clients/providers
  • Complete review letters

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2-3 years minimum experience working in the Financial Planning industry.
  • Will accept Administrators from other sectors with transferable skills e.g. attention to detail, prioritization, organisation, time management etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently.
  • Good understanding of financial products and services (or a willingness to learn).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
