We have been instructed by one of our client's to recruit for a Business Development Manager based remotely covering the Midlands and the North.Â
Our client is a leading provider of advanced Building Management Systems Integration and energy monitoring solutions. They are seeking a dynamic Business Development & Account Manager to drive account growth and new business development.

Responsibilities:
New Business Generation:Â Identify, engage, and convert new clients in commercial, industrial, and public sectors. Develop tailored proposals for BMS and energy management solutions.Account Growth & Development:Â Deepen relationships with existing clients, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to increase client retention and revenue.Consultative Sales:Â Provide technical consultation on BMS systems, energy monitoring, and integration protocols.Proposal & Quotation Management:Â Develop competitive technical quotations and proposals.Pipeline Development & Management:Â Manage and expand the sales pipeline, prioritize high-potential leads, and accelerate the sales process.Cross-Departmental Collaboration:Â Work with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.Sales Reporting & Forecasting:Â Track key performance metrics and provide accurate sales forecasts.Complex Negotiation & Stakeholder Management:Â Lead high-level negotiations and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Skills / Experience required:
Proven business development experience in technical, engineering, or energy-related industries.Extensive knowledge of BMS and integration protocols.Solid understanding of electrical systems and energy monitoring technologies.Strong consultative selling skills and ability to translate technical requirements into viable solutions.High-level negotiation skills and experience in managing multi-stakeholder negotiations.Strong analytical skills and experience using CRM and sales management tools.Willingness to travel extensively across the Midlands and North of the UK.
