Due to continued growth we are looking for a Treasury Administrator to join our Finance team based in Peterborough.

The position sits in our finance team, within a smaller team of 3 Credit Controllers and primarily deals with cash allocation, direct debit collection and taking payments over the phone. Previous experience is not essential as full training can be given

DAILY DUTIES

The role is likely to include the following tasks

Liaison with local authority clients regarding cash received, remittances and resolving any related queries

Speaking to private clients to arrange Direct Debit set up and payment of account via card payment

Allocating cash to Debtor accounts

Opening new accounts for operations including credit checking

Production, review, and distribution of monthly statements for outstanding accounts

Carry out adhoc reviews and reporting for individual branches as they arise.

Work towards department KPIs in conjunction with the rest of your team.

Attend the weekly credit control meeting

REQUIREMENTS

Strong number skills

Digital skills to help you use Office software

Good communication skills and customer service skills

Good teamwork skills and self-management skills

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:

To not already hold an administration qualification at level 3 or above

To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths

To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
