Exciting Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Water Treatment Industry

Are you a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer looking to make a significant impact in the Water Treatment Industry? 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop both Outline and Detailed Mechanical Designs that are cost-effective, align with client specifications, and facilitate smooth procurement, installation, and commissioning.
  • Create and review all design deliverables, including Specifications, Schedules, Drawings, and Calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure that designs comply with CDM Regulations.
  • Maximize the use of standard designs and established design practices wherever possible.
  • Deliver design stage outputs within the agreed project timelines and budget.
  • Coordinate design outputs across all relevant technical disciplines.
  • Prepare monthly project status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with construction teams and supply chain partners to enhance buildability and efficiency in design outcomes.

About You:

  • Possess a Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Chartered or nearing chartered status in a construction-related discipline, suitable for the role.
  • Experience in the Water Treatment Industry.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and construction Health & Safety standards.
