My client, a Care Provider based in Peterborough are recruiting for a Part time Care Coordinator to provide leadership to care staff within the service. Part time - 25 hours a week £12.50 per hour

5 hours office based, 20 out in the field.

Other duties will include:

  • To supervise the care delivery within the service
  • To maintain skills at a current level and undertake training and development when required.
  • Ensure service users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
  • To supervise staff and ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of the service.
  • To organise and coordinate care delivery in accordance with current best practices.
  • Develop and maintain annual leave requests.
  • Develop and maintain a duty rota to meet the needs of the service users.
  • Dispense medication following the service’s policies and procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities to be undertaken when they occur.
  • Manage travel delays and staff shortages to fully mitigate the impact on the service.
  • Any ad hoc duties to assist in the development of the business.
  • Managing out of hours on call emergency phone
  • Covering staff shortage and emergencies

This is a busy, hands-on role. To be considered for this role you must possess Leadership skills as well as the following:

  • Experience as a Care Coordinator
  • ‘Can do’ professional attitude to assist in growing the business
  • Good English - written and verbal - Excellent telephone manner.
  • Vocational qualification Level 3
  • Supervisory or management qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • To adapt and address situations quickly.
