JOB – Electrical EngineerLOCATION – Peterborough   TERM – Permanent SALARY – £40,000 per annumA Peterborough based company are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.TheElectrical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
  • BEng Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical design for solar power systems, generators or similar.
  • Good knowledge & experience with AC/DC systems.
  • Good understanding of the relevant health & safety regulations.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
The duties & responsibilities will include:
  • The electrical design & development of solar equipment & products.
  • Creating electrical schematics & drawings.
  • Development of existing electrical schematics & drawings.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure standards are being met at all times.
  • Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
  • Testing & validation.
