This role as a Electrical Maintenance Engineer involves ensuring the smooth and efficient running of industrial machinery within a manufacturing setting. Description

  • Performing routine machinery inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Supporting the installation of new machinery and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Providing input into the development of preventative maintenance strategies.
  • Documenting all maintenance work for record-keeping purposes.
  • Collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimise performance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Profile

A successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer should have:

  • Electrical qualification or experience in electrical maintenance.
  • Experience working on control panels emergency stops circuits and 415 motors.
  • Confident at fault finding.
  • Working through electrical drawings and main plant control panels.
  • Apprentice trained.
  • Experience with Inspection and testing 2391 (a benefit but not essential).
  • Ideally be trained to the latest 18th edition wiring regulations (a benefit not essential).
  • Trained to 17th edition wiring regulations as a minimum.
