  • Candidates must possess relevant Mortgage Underwriting experience, with a base salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience.
  • The role offers 25 days of holiday and operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with interviews scheduled to take place ASAP.

Our client a well established local business based in Peterborough is looking to recruit several Mortgage Underwriters/specialists on fulltime permanent basis due to company growth. Working as part of an established team you will take over mortgage applications after the initial work is done and then see them through to completion. This role will be Hybrid with a view to going into offices in Peterborough however it may fully remail Hybrid if that suits the candidates but there will be 2 days a month in the office.

Job role:-

  • Underwriting cases and considering the customer needs
  • Assessing loan documentation, requesting additional information and chasing information from third parties
  • Carrying out checks and assessing loan suitability
  • Managing a pipeline of mortgage applications
  • Working within company risk appetite, policy and criteria
  • Liaising with a variety of third parties including solicitors and valuers
  • Overseeing cases through to offer and completion
  • Adhering to internal underwriting policy and regulatory requirements including FCA. Money Laundering, Data Protection

To be considered for this role you will have relevant Mortgage Underwriting experience.

The company offer a base salary of up to £30,000 but that is dependent on experience. 25 days holiday and Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm.
