What You’ll Be Doing:- Leading & developing a small AP team to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing- Managing purchase ledgers and ensuring compliance with financial procedures- Owning and optimising the Open Accounts Purchase Ordering System (POP) & eBis- Supporting finance and non-finance employees with training on payables procedures- Overseeing supplier payments, resolving queries, and maintaining strong relationships- Preparing financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting audit processes- Driving process improvements and efficiency in accounts payable operations What We’re Looking For:Essential:- Finance department experience, with strong knowledge of accounts payable processes- Familiarity with finance system software (e.g. Open Accounts, eBis)- Ability to lead, develop, and support a small team- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Desirable:- Knowledge of VAT accounting and financial regulations- Experience working in a large-scale finance function- Project/process improvement experience What Our Client Offer's:- Fully remote role with flexibility - but you do need to live within 1 hour of Peterborough- Opportunities for career development & progression- A supportive, collaborative finance team Anne Corder Recruitment Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and as an employment [business for the supply of temporary workers.
