Sales Engineer - Automation & System Integration - Food & Beverage Industry
Dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer required to join a provider or automation and system integration services.
This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in tech sales within the food industry. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of industry experience, be resilient, and excel in a fast-paced sales environment.
This role will be office based at least once per week so all applicants must live within a commutable distance to Peterborough.
The Package:
Salary - 40,000-45,000

The Role:
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling and prospecting.
- Maintain an organised pipeline and follow-up processes to ensure customer engagement.
- Work closely with the sales team to accelerate sales cycle and reach business goals.
- Attend industry conferences and networking events.
- Provide insights and feedback from the marketplace to help steer marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of experience selling into the food industry
- Proven track record in a customer-facing Sales Engineer role or similar.
- Strong organisational abilities and resilience in handling setbacks.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
