The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in our Passive Fire Division, ensuring accurate cost estimations for current and prospective customers. You will review proposals, analyse costs, and prepare clear and detailed reports that support business growth and project success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse project proposals, drawings, and specifications
  • Calculate costs by evaluating labour, materials, and time requirements
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in estimates
  • Present clear, accurate cost reports and market trend insights
  • Maintain a cost database and stay updated on industry developments
  • Ensure all estimates consider health and safety risks

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear and professional report-writing abilities
  • Proven experience in an Estimator role
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify viable opportunities
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in Electrical, Fire, or Security industries is desirable
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes is an advantage
