ision for Education are seeking to appoint a SEND teacher to work in a specialist provision for children with complex SEND in Peterborough. This will be a full-time position starting in January 2025.

About the role

We are seeking a calm, nurturing SEND teacher to fulfil this position in a specialised provision in Peterborough. The person suitable for this role would need to be patient, creative and willing to face a rewarding challenge that this role provides. The perfect candidate will be open minded, have good behaviour management skills and have a naturally caring nature. The students have complex additional needs so you will need to be able to adapt to new situations efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining a positive outlook.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEND Teacher you will:

  • SEN experience is beneficial however not essential
  • Be flexible, proactive and patient
  • To be able to communicate effectively within a team

Salary

£31,650 to £46,525 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a DBS or be willing to process one
  • To have had experience working with children or young people in the last two years
