They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead their recruitment function, ensuring the business attracts, hires, and retains the best talent. This role will oversee a small team of recruiters and manage high-volume hiring, direct sourcing, executive search, and employer branding while driving efficiency and best practices across the recruitment process.

The Role

As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will take ownership of all recruitment activities across the UK, ensuring a seamless and strategic approach to talent acquisition. With a focus on high-volume hiring (300+ hires annually), you will play a crucial role in shaping the workforce, reducing agency reliance, and strengthening employer branding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a small recruitment team, driving best practices and continuous improvement
  • Oversee all recruitment activities across the UK, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process
  • Develop and execute a talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and workforce planning
  • Manage high-volume recruitment (300+ hires per year) across multiple roles and locations
  • Maintain a 97% direct hire rate, minimising the use of external agencies
  • Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and build strong talent pipelines
  • Conduct headhunting and executive search for senior, specialist, and hard-to-fill roles
  • Lead employer branding initiatives, leveraging social media, job boards, and direct outreach to attract top talent
  • Develop structured interview packs to standardise and improve candidate evaluation
  • Support internal mobility and succession planning, ensuring at least 30% of hires come from within the business
  • Oversee apprenticeship and graduate recruitment to secure future talent
  • Use data and market insights to track hiring performance and inform recruitment strategies

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or executive search
  • Experience managing a small recruitment team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong expertise in direct sourcing, headhunting, and executive search
  • Ability to handle high-volume recruitment while ensuring quality and efficiency
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with senior leaders
  • Experience in employer branding, social media recruitment, and talent pipeline development
