HR Advisor - 12 month FTCI am keen to speak to HR professionals that are looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment with a "can do" attitude and the ability to get things done in an accurate and timely manner. The role will be based mainly onsite in Peterborough so the ability to commute daily would be essential. The successful applicant will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and a flexible approach to a challenging and varied workload is required.Using your own initiative and with excellent time management skills, the role requires multi-tasking and a flexible approach as a key member of a small team.To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience in a similar HR role, an understanding and knowledge of UK employment law. Knowledge of European employment legislation would also be advantageous but not essential. CIPD level 3/5 qualification is desirable along with strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Duties will include:

  • Managing the employee lifecycle and taking responsibility for ER cases.
  • Managing and maintaining contracts, personnel files and other employee information.
  • Drafting routine correspondence and document templates, such as forms, letters, induction packs, checklists, spreadsheets.
  • Conduct inductions, return to work meetings after absence.
  • Assisting with disciplinary and grievance hearings as necessary.
  • Assisting line managers with all performance related matters.
  • Ensuring good relations and communications with all members of the team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop a positive culture within the Company.
  • Assist and lead on other Human Resources projects and activities.
  • Administrate and manage the annual leave system on a continuous basis.
