Global FMCG based in Cambridgeshire are looking for a Senior IT and Business Change PM to report into the Central PMO but be the PM for one of the brands to lead on their IT projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT PM who has done Business Readiness for a companies IT projects. The IT Projects will range from infrastructure to security projects.

Please note this role will require travel to the Cambridgeshire based office 2-3 times a month with expensed travel to the other offices in the UK.

THE ROLE

The Senior IT and Business Change PM will be responsible for:

  • Management of assigned technology and change projects and programmes through the lifecycle in accordance with agreed governance methodology and associated approval bodies.
  • Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organise and lead business change
  • Work on a variety of technology projects including Windows 11 upgrade, cloud technologies, ERP implementation, end user computing and Security.
  • Manage concurrent high visibility projects / programmes in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple ABF Functions and businesses.
  • Prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Apply adaptable governance using a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional Waterfall and Agile approaches in the right proportions.
  • Manage and co-ordinate project team(s) made up of technical & non-technical members, 3rd parties and business unit IT Teams, including the development and management of project plans, team meetings & Steering committees as needed
  • Work with the central PMO function, C-suite levels and technology and business change stakeholders to drive projects forward for the business.

YOU

The Senior IT and Business Change PM will have experience of:

  • Working as an autonomous IT PM on Technology & Security projects
  • Preference to have worked within FMCG or similar types of organisations in the private sector
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with C-Suite and all other levels and both technology and business stakeholders
  • Have done Business Change and Business Readiness on Technology Projects
  • Worked in agile and waterfall
  • Have strong governance and reporting skills
  • Been a PM on projects with budgets of circa £1 million to £4 million
