Description
- Forecasting product demand and managing inventory levels.
- Collaborating with procurement teams to secure necessary goods and services.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Ensuring supply chain processes meet business and customer requirements.
- Analysing supply chain data and providing actionable insights.
- Maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Profile
A successful Junior Supply Planner should have:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field - desirable
- Previous experience in a role with demonstrable transferrable skills
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency using MS Excel
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of supply chain best practices and industry regulations - desirable
- Able to work well independently as well as within a team.
