Excellent opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer with experience working with engines or in the automotive industry who is looking for a varied role working on a number of exciting development projects on next generation projects.

This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role you will be working as part of an established team where you will be working on state of the art development for control systems used on their automotive projects. The role will involve using Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow so experience with at least two of these software is essential. You will be helping to create new code and processes for their innovative projects including alternative fuels as well as electric and hybrid systems. The team are heavily involved in new product development through the prototype and manufacturing phases.

This role is 37 hours a week Monday to Friday with flexible hours and hybrid working opportunities but does require a minimum of 3 days a week on site. This role is working Inside of IR35 regulations.

The Role:

  • Creating new control systems and writing code using Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow
  • Working on innovative, cutting edge projects with an international market leader
  • Long term 12 month contract with long term extension opportunities available

The Person:

  • Control Systems Development Engineer with Matlab, Simulink or Stateflow experience
  • Coming from a background with IC engines, hybrid systems or associated industries
  • Available for an immediate start on a long term 12 month contract working Inside IR35
