Compliance Manager required for my client who work within the automotive and manufacturing industry, based in Peterborough.

The company are looking for a compliance manager to ensure they maintain full adherence to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, while overseeing all aspects of health and safety across multiple sites.

The compliance manager role is critical in upholding regulatory compliance, mitigating risks and fostering a safe, efficient and compliant workplace.

Compliance Manager Job Overview

  • Implement and maintain ISO9001 and ISO14001 compliance policies and procedures.
  • Develop, implement and monitor health and safety policies in accordance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections, identifying risk and ensuring corrective actions.
  • Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution and findings.
  • Train and support staff on compliance, health and safety best practices.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes and adjust company policies accordingly.
  • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and auditors.
  • Oversee CEN testing and Whole Vehicle Type Approval processes.
  • Manage compliance-related administrative tasks and ensure tooling calibrations are conducted.
  • Serve as the company fire marshal and property manager.

Compliance Manager Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing ISO9001 and ISO14001 compliance.
  • IOSH qualification (preferred but not essential
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience in developing and managing audit programs.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Based within a commutable distance of Peterborough.

Compliance Manager Salary & Benefits

  • Full time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 16:30pm).
  • £30,000 to £36,000 per annum (dependent upon experience).
