What You Will Do:

  • Design and package core engine components including major castings and systems related to breather, cooling & lubrication.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to ensure solutions meet customer and functional requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with suppliers, aligning design solutions with quality and cost expectations.
  • Support FMEA on components and systems to address design risks and validation needs.
  • Generate reports to support component and system design reviews and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Address field and production issues, developing containment actions and corrective measures.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong technical background, preferably with an HNC or degree in mechanical or automotive engineering.
  • Knowledge of Core Engine systems such as Rotating Systems, Valvetrain, Castings, Lubrication, Breather and Cooling systems
  • Experience with modelling & detailing in CREO4 and familiarity with Team Centre - data management software.
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and deliver tasks independently.
  • Desirable: Experience in FMEA, CREO Simulate, and familiarity with APQP methodology.
