DFMEA Facilitator
Peterborough- Hybrid (3 days in the office / 2 days WFH)
Initial 12 month contract PAYE/ Umbrella basis
Our client is a leader in the design, manufacture and support of a World class range of engines and they have just made available a unique opportunity for a DFMEA Facilitator!
You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, your expertise in DFMEA facilitation, along with your ability to work independently and provide leadership, will support a variety of projects ranging from full engine NPI (New Product Introduction) programs to individual component design changes.
Leading engineers through the full Proactive Reliability process - from risk identification, assigning mitigation activities and creation of the DVP (Design Validation Plan). With support and collaboration from Engineers across facilities in US, China, India, and Japan.
Key Responsibilities;
- Scheduling, chairing & facilitating FMEA sessions
- Involvement in FMEAs both at system & component level
- Provide support & training on FMEA process & FMEA tool software (Plato e1ns)
- Creation & communication of FMEA health metrics
- Development of FMEA health metric processes & tools
- Supporting creation of optimised component & engine level validation plans
- Seeking & delivering continuous process improvement opportunities
Skills and experience;
- Experience of DFMEA facilitation and creation
- Demonstrated experience of planning validation and test requirements
- A Systems Engineering approach to product development
- Good communication skills, both written and working as part of a team
- Experience of Proactive Reliability methods and demonstration of Product Quality
