International Account Executive
The Collective Network is partnering with a leading global food brand to find a dynamic International Account Executive who will play a key role in driving profitable sales and expanding the company's international reach. Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated professional to support international sales operations, manage key accounts, and foster new business opportunities. This role requires a commercial mindset, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex international sales landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive profitable sales growth by supporting the execution of international account plans in collaboration with the Head of International Sales.
Ensure smooth operations by managing internal and external administrative processes related to international sales.
Identify and develop profitable new business opportunities within specified accounts, including managing UK-based Export Consolidators.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service, to optimise processes and enhance customer relationships.
Implement country-specific trade marketing strategies in partnership with the marketing team to enhance brand presence internationally.
Support the annual sales and profit budget planning process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee day-to-day commercial activities, including customer interactions, order processing, and supply chain coordination.
Produce and submit detailed customer visit reports, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of key discussions and action points.
Manage trade spend and promotional budgets, ensuring they align with company targets.
Assist in the development and execution of strategic brand growth initiatives across international markets.
Key Relationships
Work closely with the Head of International Sales, UK Sales Team, and cross-functional departments including Marketing, NPD, Technical, Customer Service, and Finance.
Maintain daily communication with customers and Export Consolidators to facilitate seamless operations and drive sales growth.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with leading retailers and wholesalers in the international market.
Strong numerical reasoning and commercial acumen.
Experience in brand activation and international trade marketing preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP experience is desirable.
Basic knowledge of food legislation is an advantage.
Highly organised with strong time management skills.
Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions aligned with business goals.
Work Environment & Expectations
The role is a blend of office-based work (minimum three days per week) and international travel as required.
Attendance at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer visits to drive new business opportunities.
Flexibility in working hours during periods of travel or peak business activity.
