The role:

As National Account Manager you will report into the UK Sales Director, responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a mix of UK customers across grocery & discount retail
  • Have full P&L, take a category led selling approach and utilise all necessary data
  • Manage all key brands across a mix of categories for the business
  • Take the lead on the launch of a new brand into a key grocery retailer
  • Be the key point of contact for major UK retailers, must be a strong relationship builder

Ideal candidate:

  • Will need experience of managing top 4 grocery or discount retailers
  • Preferable if have operated in a non-food category such as beauty, personal care, home or a related area. Candidates from other FMCG areas or food & drink will also be considered
  • Be diligent with numbers, utilising all data to help drive sales
  • Comfortable operating in a manufacturing business and understanding of processes involved
  • Be a good team player, have a great attitude and willingness to learn
  • This role offers the opportunity to progress to SNAM level quickly
