Starting as soon as you are available, this role will be long-term, but you will have the opportunity to secure a permanent role with the school following a successful introductory period with Reed Education.
As a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school, no two days are the same and you expect to undertake the following duties day-to-day:• Prepare activities and learning materials under the supervision of the teacher.• Work inside or outside the classroom with individuals or small groups.• Adapt the level of support given, according to the needs your pupils.• Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare. Reporting any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.• Support the class teacher, to create a stimulating environment for students with additional needs (Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Learning and Cognition Needs).
Hours of work are 08.30am until 15.15pm, Monday to Friday and term-time only. Take full advantage of the school holidays with this term-time only role, perfect for work/life balance and other commitments!
