Niyaa people are working with a national contractor who are looking for a Damp and Mould Surveyor needed for a contractor in the east midlands. The successful Damp and Mould Surveyor will be working with an end client that has housing stock throughout Leicestershire and CambridgeshireThis is a pay per survey basis, rates are below all Outside of IR35:
  • Tier 1 - Pay rate to the Surveyor £42
  • Tier 2 - Pay rate to the Surveyor £240
  • Tier 3 - Pay rate to the Surveyor £360
The ideal Damp and Mould Surveyor will have their own
  • Basic Joinery Kit
  • Endoscope / Borescope
  • Calcium Carbide Testing/Kit
  • Drills
  • Masonry and timber drill bits
  • Filler for timber and masonry to cover the investigation holes at the property.
  • 3 stage ladders
  • Crawl boards
  • Task lighting
What is required for the Damp and Mould Surveyor role:
  • Building Surveying Background.
  • Knowledge of damp, mould and condensation issues within properties
  • Additional certs in specific damp and mould (PCA Qualification Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) or (CSSW) would be desirable
  • Experience of Damp and Mould surveying (actually undertaken surveys previously) essential
