Niyaa People is seeking a Damp and Mould Surveyor for a contractor in the East Midlands, specifically working with housing stock in Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire.
The pay is on a per survey basis, with rates of £42 for Tier 1, £240 for Tier 2, and £360 for Tier 3, all outside of IR35.
Candidates should have a building surveying background and experience in damp and mould surveying, having conducted surveys previously.
Additional certifications such as PCA Qualification Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) or CSSW are desirable.
The role offers flexibility of 2-4 days per week.

Niyaa people are working with a national contractor who are looking for a Damp and Mould Surveyor needed for a contractor in the east midlands. The successful Damp and Mould Surveyor will be working with an end client that has housing stock throughout Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire

This is a pay per survey basis, rates are below all Outside of IR35:

Tier 1 - Pay rate to the Surveyor 42
Tier 2 - Pay rate to the Surveyor 240
Tier 3 - Pay rate to the Surveyor 360

The ideal Damp and Mould Surveyor will have their own

Basic Joinery Kit
Endoscope / Borescope
Calcium Carbide Testing/Kit
Drills
Masonry and timber drill bits
Filler for timber and masonry to cover the investigation holes at the property.
3 stage ladders
Crawl boards
Task lighting

What is required for the Damp and Mould Surveyor role:

Building Surveying Background.
Knowledge of damp, mould and condensation issues within properties
Additional certs in specific damp and mould (PCA Qualification Certificated Surveyor of Timber & Dampness in Buildings (CSTDB) or (CSSW) would be desirable
Experience of Damp and Mould surveying (actually undertaken surveys previously) essential
