12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities
Excellent opportunity for a Technical Author from an engineering or manufacturing background who is looking for a long term 12 month contract working with an international market leading company.
Do you have experience in the writing of technical documentation or manuals? Do you have a background working in the engineering or manufacturing sectors?
This company are a truly multinational organisation who have an unrivalled reputation for the high quality of their products the world over. They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth they are now looking to add to their specialist team.
In this role you will be joining an established team where you will be working to interpret technical data from internal customers to create a range of technical documentation and manuals for use with their international customers. This role will involve working to create work instructions as well as some CAD drawings so previous experience working with a CAD software is preferable. This role will be working Monday to Friday 37 hours a week with hybrid working opportunities but with a minimum requirement of 3 days a week in the office.
The Role:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and data to create work packs
- Writing technical information and creating illustrations using CAD
- Long term 12 month contract with hybrid working opportunities
The Person:
- Technical Author from an engineering or manufacturing background
- Previous experience with using CAD software
- Long term 12 month contract working with a market leading business
