Stafforce is seeking a Plater for a temporary to permanent position in the Peterlee area.
The role involves MIG/TIG welding with materials including mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel.
Candidates with a sheet metal background are preferred, but all experience levels will be considered.
The job requires reading drawings and using initiative to fabricate products, along with operating power tools and workshop machinery.
The pay rate is up to £16 per hour, and candidates should ideally have relevant experience.

Stafforce are recruiting on a temporary to permanent basis for a Plater in the Peterlee area. You would work through ourselves for 3 months and then transfer onto a permanent full time contract at the end of that period.

About the role:

You will be using MIG / TIG welding

We work with a variety of materials, such as: mild steel, aluminium and stainless

Candidate:

We are looking for candidates ideally with a sheet metal background but all experience will be considered
You will read drawings and use your initiative to fabricate the products.
Experience Operating power tools and workshop machinery

Hours of work - 0745 to 1645 Monday to Friday

Pay rate - Up to £16 per hour Monday to Friday dependant upon experience.
