We are seeking a time served Plater to join the team, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts using various tools and techniques.
Job Specification:
Carry out plating operations following work instructions
Read drawings to ensure that steel is cut to specification
Accurately assemble and ensure that plating is carried out to spec
Cut and prepare plates / sections
Assemble fabrication work to pass to welders for final assembly
Work with inspections and quality teamsPerson Specification:
Time served plater with experience in oil and gas, marine or renewables industry
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metalwork
Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
Mechanical knowledge for understanding machinery and equipmentThis is an on going contract working permanent day shift.
Hours of operation are 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday with overtime
