Experienced Practice Accountant

What will the Practice Accountant role involve?

• Preparation of Accounts for Limited Companies, LLPs, Partnerships, and Sole Traders.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP and small/micro-entity company accounts (FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105).
• Preparation of corporate tax returns or support in tax return preparation for senior accountant review.
• Liaising with and advising clients on tax and accounting matters.
• Managing workloads independently and meeting strict deadlines.
• Using accounting and tax systems such as Xero, VT Transactions, Taxfiler, and Payroll Manager.

Suitable Candidate for the Practice Accountant vacancy:

• Previous experience in a practice environment is essential.
• Ideally ACA, ACCA, ATT, or AAT qualified, but part-qualified or qualified by experience will be considered.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax legislation and company law.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
