Venture Recruitment is partnered with a local financial services business in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. This role will initially be heavily cashier-based before progressing into a more complex management accountant role. Overview of the role: Â
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations, process bank transactions, and deliver ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Own and become the senior expert in cashier duties for the first 12 months.
- Ensure meticulous accuracy in all tasks, as errors impact financial reporting and organisational decisions.
- Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines for internal and parent company (KEU/TMC) reporting.
- Liaise with departmental heads and stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Key skills & experience:Â
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practicesÂ
- AAT studier or BSc in a relevant qualification
- Proficiency in analysing financial data
