Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute high-quality dishes for both the day and evening menus, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Collaborate with the Area Head Chef to develop new menu items that align with the upcoming rebrand and culinary vision.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation during service.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Manage stock control and ordering to ensure the kitchen is always well-supplied and minimize waste.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of new culinary concepts and seasonal menus as part of the rebranding.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with expertise in both breakfast and dinner service.
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Creativity and passion for food innovation, with a willingness to contribute to menu development.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to team development.
- Sound knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with relevant certifications (e.g., Food Safety Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred).
- Experience in working through brand transitions or restaurant rebranding is a plus.
