- Oversight of around 300 customers and accounts across various sectors
- Engaging directly with customers via phone, email, and letter, resolving queries and ensuring payments are up to date
- Working within a friendly team of 3 credit controllers
- Monitoring the accounts email inbox and dealing with any queries
- Raising credit notes, allocating cash to correct accounts
- Negotiating and agreeing payment plans for collection of arrears
- Putting accounts on hold if payments aren’t met
- Credit checking of customers
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Customer Service Advisor / Customer Service Representative / Customer Service Assistant / Customer Assistant / Sales Representative / Collections Agent / Credit Controller / Credit Control Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant
- Confidence in communicating with customers and maintaining excellent customer service
- Working knowledge of credit control is a bonus but not essential as you will learn!
